On Thursday, April 29, at 6 p.m. join us for a virtual evening exploring ikebana, the art of Japanese flower arranging. The program will open with an introductory lecture on the history and culture of Ikebana by Dr. Brenda G. Jordan.  Following the lecture there will be a screening of the documentary Ikebana (1956) by director Hiroshi Teshigahara. Our own Maridon Museum docent Carole Freuhstorfer will provide a presentation on this porcelain imari plate from the Edo period.
