With summertime comes the gathering of fresh vegetables from my garden, still damp with early morning dew. What a lovely time to be out with my little companion enjoying the earth under our bare feet and a brush of gentle breeze to cool us.
We joined museum founder Mary Hulton Phillips in the fall of 2006. This was two years after she opened The Maridon Museum. Steve Levine, a long-time friend, and Meissen porcelain expert, introduced Mrs. Phillips to Meissen pieces of the Art Nouveau period. She considered us so special that she decided to have the Meissen Gallery redesigned to include an Art Nouveau grouping. Mr. Levine curated the exhibit, and we found our permanent home. Please visit us at The Maridon Museum.
