These lessons\, held at 5:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.\, are open to anyone. \nThe Dharmas held the third Thursday of the month will include more\ninstruction and shorter periods of meditation. \nClick here to download the flyer. \nThe Crystal Lotus meditation group will host and support beginning practitioners of meditation\, which has proven to be beneficial for those suffering stress\, anger\, and general emotional strife. \nDonations welcome. DESCRIPTION:3:00 p.m.\, Thursday\, May 27\, 2021\nThe Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down by Anne Fadiman\n \nThe Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down explores the clash between a small county hospital in California and a refugee family from Laos over the care of Lia Lee\, a Hmong child diagnosed with severe epilepsy. Lia’s parents and her doctors both want what is best for Lia\, but the lack of understanding between them leads to tragedy. \nPlease join us for all our upcoming in-person Book Club meetings.
